Rounders is the girl's sport in the spring. Our eldest has become a "home run" hitter this season and is also bowling for the first time.

After a while we decided to hike home. Along the way Grandma lost her shoe .....

.... and her beachball and decided she'd had enough!

One of the adventurer's went well off the path ....

..... and Grandpa voiced his opinion of the hike through the mud!

During their absence we hosted another guest. When they returned we took a hike through the forest following the previous day's rain. It was muddy, but the reward at the end was fun!

It wasn't all fun and games, though. We made them work to earn their keep! They got lazy after a while so we sent them off to a B&B for a break.

Grandma and Grandpa paid a surprise visit (for the kids) in mid-May after a week in Germany.

School dress-up days are a lot of fun!!

The bluebells were in full bloom for a two week period. Diana was so impressed that she made several trips with a friend then brought her family twice.

In early May, 2008, Diana and the kids participated in the Marwell Zoo races. Diana completed the 10K race in an hour and the kids finished the 1K fun run. (The older two are presently training for a 2 mile run in a nearby town.)
