In early August we travelled to Plymouth at the invitation of Commodore Bob Mansergh to join his wife, SJ, and kids for a tour of the frigate, HMS Argyll, and nuclear submarine, HMS Tireless. Bob and SJ's kids went to school with our kids in Somerset.

The four families enjoyed many activities during Al & Nancy's 50th wedding anniversary week in Barbados. Early in the week we boarded the Calabaza for a half-day cruise along the shore.
