Members of a school netball team from Australia stayed with us two nights in mid-October during their tour of the UK. We had a good time with them, but after a while some odd behavior began to surface!

At the end of August, the Saunders family invited us to join them on their 45 foot yacht for a beautiful day of sailing across the Solent between Hamble and the Isle of Wight. Kobi had a really good time though he was lashed to the mast!

The month of August can't go by without celebrating Diana's birthday

Mini-land was very impressive. Here she is in front of St Paul's Cathedral made entirely of lego blocks.

She could drive, but she couldn't stand up in a bubble on water!

This young lady passed her driving test and left Legoland with her driver's license swinging from her neck!

In mid-August, our youngest one and I joined Brett and Lark and their kids at Legoland in Windsor. This ride was more fun than we expected (notice Lark's expression)!

This year the barber surprised us with a star that reminded me, ugh .... of the Dallas Cowboys!

Number 2 went in for his customary haircut. Two years ago he had a lightning bolt.

We left North Carolina and flew to Illinois to join Diana's family including our nephew and niece

We flew from Niagara Falls to North Carolina where we stayed with Al's parents and were joined by his brother, Bob, and his kids. Rafting behind the boat was a crowd favorite!

In the afternoon we drove to 'Niagara on the Lake' and spent an hour at Lake Ontario where we walked a bit and skipped rocks. These two lovely ladies allowed me to take their photo.

Later on we visited the 4D studio to view the history of the Falls. Some of us looked like we were trying to stay dry . . . .

We flew from Stockholm, Sweden back for an overnight stay at Al's brother's house in London then returned to Heathrow the next day to fly to Buffalo, New York. Upon arrival we hired a car and drove to a B&B in Niagara Falls, Canada where we called it a day. The next day we spent the day on the Canadian side at Horseshoe Falls.
