This Mulberry harbour is still in Langstone Bay. It was a type of temporary harbour developed in World War II to offload cargo on the beaches during the Allied invasion of Normandy.

Al and the kids took week-long sailing lessons during the summer half-term break. Al forgot to take pictures of the kids, but he had one taken of himself and his instructor. All four can now sail a boat on their own!
