The weather cleared for a while in the afternoon and we finally enjoyed a ride through San Marcos and in the Grand Canal

On our first day we thought the "tables" stacked along the alley ways and in St Mark's Square were left over from a special occasion. We realized the next day, while it was still raining, that they're used to form a path over flooded areas!
